| Film Notes: | The ancient ecclesiastical parish of St. Sepulchre was located partly in Middlesex County, but chiefly in London County. The church parish was known most often as St. Sepulchre, or St. Sepulchre Newgate. For civil purposes it was divided in two parishes, each with the same name, one in London and one in Middlesex. The Middlesex portion was transferred to London in 1889. A number of other names have been used for the parish including St. Sepulchre without Newgate, St. Edmund Sepulcher, St. Edmund without Newgate, St. Sepulcher in the Bailey without Newgate, St. Sepulchre in Smithfield, Holy Sepulchre without Newgate, St. Sepulchre Holborn, and more recently as St. Sepulchre Holborn Viaduct with Christ Church Greyfriars and St. Leonard Foster Lane. |
